Amarinder incapable of getting justice for Sikhs: Mann
Chandigarh, June 15: Akali dal (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann today said the appointment of Kamal Nath as incharge of Congress affairs in Punajb was an evidence that state party chief Capt Amarinder Singh was incapable of getting justice for the Sikhs.
Addressing the media persons here, Mann said this action of Sonia Gandhi amounted to rubbing salt on the wounds of the Sikhs as he was allegedly involved in the November 1984 anti-Sikh violence.
He said it was compulsion of Capt Amarinder Singh to accept this decision of Sonia Gandhi.
He expressed the hope that being fed up with the Akali Dal-BJP alliance and the Congress, the people in Punjab would vote for candidates of Akali Dal (Amritsar) and Sarbat Khalsa organisations.
